DRUMRAGH 1-11
GLENELLY 0-9

A goal from David Chism in the first half helped Drumragh to a convincing five-point win over Glenelly in the League on Wednesday evening.

Drumragh fully deserved their victory and hit the lead early on with midfielder Paul Maguire swinging over a good point from play.

Although Glenelly soon equalised Chism got in for the only goal of the game to give Drumragh a lead which they would never lose.

The home side were able to keep in touch in the first half but two points from Martin Taggart and another from Maguire - after great work from centre-half back Benny Drum - meant Drumragh led 1-4 to 0-4 at half-time.

Gavin Quinn got Drumragh's first point of the second half from a long-range free after Gareth Starrs was fouled before Taggart converted another free, after Quinn was the man fouled, to increase the Drumragh lead.

Liam Quinn added another good score from play before Maguire put over the third free of the half. Drumragh were dominant in the second half and further points from Shane Cleary, Starrs and Drum put the game beyond the reach of Glenelly who could only respond with frees having gotten little space from a hardworking Drumragh defence.

SCORERS: David Chism 1-0, Paul Maguire 0-3 (1 free), Martin Taggart 0-3 (1 free), Gavin Quinn 0-1 (free), Liam Quinn 0-1, Benny Drum 0-1, Shane Cleary 0-1, Gareth Starrs 0-1

KILLYMAN 1-12

Drumragh were beaten by Killyman in the League on Saturday.

Killyman led 1-7 to 0-1 at half-time with Gareth Starrs getting the only score of the half for Drumragh.

Drumragh, however, played much better in the second half and were unlucky not to score a goal early in the half when the Killyman goalkeeper pulled off a couple of great saves.

Killyman did eventually open the scoring in the second half but Drumragh responded with three scores in a row from Liam Quinn, Paul Maguire and Martin Taggart.

The home side stretched their lead and despite further points from Taggart and Quinn and a goal from Shane Cleary Killyman had built up too much of a lead and emerged six-point winners.

DRUMRAGH 0-7

CLOGHER 3-5

Drumragh reserves were beaten on Sunday when three goals from Clogher was enough for them to take the win in this ACL game.

Clogher took control of the game early on putting 2-1 on the scoreboard before corner-forward Donal McCullagh opened Drumragh’s account with a nice point from play.

However, Clogher added the next three scores with Emmett Donaghey replying with a free for Drumragh which meant Clogher enjoyed an eight-point lead at half-time.

Drumragh put in a better performance in the second half and kept Clogher scoreless for over twenty minutes.

Meanwhile at the other end of the field Ciaran Hutchinson opened the scoring in the second half from a free after he was fouled while the same player then put over a good point from play to close the gap further before Johnny Edgar hit the next two points including an excellent sideline ball from the right wing.

Clogher though eventually got a score in the second half, to which Edgar responded with a free, but Clogher got their third goal very late on to give them a seven-point win.

CLOGHER 3-9

Drumragh fell to an eight-point defeat in their league game against Clogher on Sunday.

The game was tight early on with Martin Taggart (2) and Gareth Starrs getting points for Drumragh.

However, with the game tied at three points each the contest turned in Clogher's favour when they scored two goals in quick succession followed by Chris O’Doherty's harsh sending off having received his second yellow card.

And while Taggart got another point for Drumragh, Clogher went in at half-time with a six-point lead.

Paul Maguire opened the scoring in the second half with a 45 before Fiachra Woods tagged on another point which reduced the gap to only four points.

However, Clogher then hit 1-4 in-a-row which left Drumragh with too much to do. They did though battle on to the end finishing the game strongly with points from Taggart (2) and Maguire but it was not enough to avoid defeat.

SCORERS: Martin Taggart 0-6 (5 frees), Paul Maguire 0-2 (1 free), Fiachra Woods 0-1, Gareth Starrs 0-1

DRUMRAGH 1-11

BERAGH 2-8

A free from Martin Taggart with the last kick of the game earned Drumragh a share of the points against Beragh at Clanabogan on Sunday.

Beragh took an early two-point lead to which Taggart replied with a free after he himself was fouled.

However, Beragh then increased the gap with their first goal of the game before quickly adding another point.

Drumragh, though, responded well and came back through two points from Taggart and a goal from Paul Maguire.

This brought the teams level but Beragh finished the half strongly and were in front by two points at half-time.

Liam Quinn opened the scoring in the second half for Drumragh but Beragh restored their lead with a point of their own.

Maguire then got Drumragh's next five scores including two excellent points from play to give his side the lead for the first time in ther game.

Beragh, however, responded with their second goal to go back in front by two points with time almost up.

But two frees from Taggart, after Gareth Starrs and Gavin Quinn were fouled, earned Drumragh a draw.

BERAGH 1-5

Drumragh reserves picked up their second win of the season with victory over Beragh at Clanabogan on Sunday evening.

Three points from Shane Cleary, including two good efforts from play, gave Drumragh a 3-1 lead early on.

Beragh came back to equalise but an excellent long-range free from Sean McNamee and points from Eunan Kelly and Cleary put Drumragh back in front only for Beragh to square the game once again with the only goal of the game.

However, Cleary gave Drumragh the lead at half-time when he converted a free after Mickey Raflewski was fouled.

Cleary (2) and Ciaran Hutchinson stretched Drumragh's lead with scores in the second half and with the Drumragh defence restricting Beragh to only two scores for the rest of the game, Drumragh held on for the win.

BROCAGH 0-14

Goals from Chris O'Doherty and Liam Quinn helped give Drumragh their first win of the season against Brocagh on Sunday.

Brocagh started the scoring in the game and quickly opened up a two-point lead but Drumragh tied the game up through points from Fiachra Woods and a free from Liam Quinn after he himself was fouled.

Brocagh once again took the lead but O'Doherty put Drumragh in the front for the first time in the game when he punched the ball to the back of the net after a long ball in.

The same player then put over a fantastic long-range score before Johnny Edgar hit another excellent point from far out on the right wing to increase Drumragh's lead.

Martin Taggart added another two points but Brocagh got the final three scores of the half so Drumragh had to settle for a two-point lead at half-time.

Brocagh started the second half brightly and quickly brought the game level but Quinn restored Drumragh's lead with his side's second goal after being set up by Taggart.

TATTYREAGH 1-10

Drumragh had to settle for a draw in their league encounter with Tattyreagh at Clanabogan on Sunday when the away side hit a couple of late points to level the game.

Tattyreagh made the better start to the game and quickly opened up a four-point lead thanks to a converted free followed by their only goal of the game.

Liam Quinn opened Drumragh’s account with a nice point from play before the same player closed the gap further with another score after good work by Fiachra Woods. Tattyreagh though replied with two points but Quinn responded with a free after Chris O’Doherty was fouled.

The last four points of the half were shared with Martin Taggart getting both Drumragh scores – one from play and another from a free. This gave Tattyreagh a three-point lead at half-time.

Taggart got two scores early in the second half but Tattyreagh answered with points of their own. Another two points from Taggart, one from a free, and a score from substitute Gareth Starrs closed the gap to single point before Taggart gave Drumragh the lead for the first time in the game when he beat the Tattyreagh goalkeeper to a high ball to punch the ball to the net.

A score from Martin Taggart and two points from Paul Maguire, one from a free, gave Drumragh a three-point lead early on. Castlederg soon opened their account but Gareth Starrs responded with a good point from play to keep Drumragh in front.

However, Castlerderg hit the last two scores of the half and so Drumragh only led by a point at half-time.

Castlederg started the second half strongly and three points in-a-row gave them a two-point lead.

Drumragh, though, responded well and Liam Quinn closed the gap with a free before substitute Fiachra Woods squared the game.

Starrs then gave Drumragh the lead with an excellent point after he caught a long ball in.

Castlederg brought the scores level once again but Taggart responded with a terrific sideline ball which looked to have given Drumragh the win.
