Drumragh paved the way to their victory with a strong first half showing, conceding the opening score then scoring 7 points without reply. Ciaran Hutchinson (2) Gareth Starrs (2) Paul Maguire and Martin Taggart (4) were the first half scorers as Drumragh led 0.9 - 0.2 at the break. Conal mcCullagh scored both Glenelly scores from midfield, and was their best player on the day.
Glenelly rallied ihn the 2nd half with the introduction of Omagh CBS' Seamus Harkin, and 4 scores from cathal Nicholas and one from Ronan O'Kane reduced the deficit. Tormentor in chief martin taggart for Drumragh kept the distance between the sides scoring three second half points. Drumragh were reduced to fourteen with the dismissal of defender David Chism. Best on show for Drumragh was defender Mark O'Loan, with Conal McCullagh best for Glenelly at midfield.Prior to the game Drumragh presented MacRory Cup captain Gareth Haughey with a framed photograph marking his achievement.
